Teach your dog new tricks, discover your music matches, work on flow and precision, create choreography, and have a great time with your dog. The next Freestyle Fundamentals class begin Canine Sports and Games Playing with your dog strengthens your relationship, builds focus and is fun. this six- week class you and your dog work together to complete agility obstacles, learn rally skills, play nose work and perform tricks. This class is for dogs and owners who have completed Family Companions I II. Upcoming Canine Sports and Games Classes: The next Canine Sports and Games class begin Fun with Rally Obedience is interesting test of obedience skills where you and your dog navigate a course of signage at your own pace--think of it as obstacle course with directions. You interpret and properly navigate the signs, while your dog learns to follow your lead. Competitive Rally is timed and point scored, but this six week class is not competitive. It is for fun and time spent with your dog! Dogs are always on leash and work on portions of the course independently with the goal of the completion of a whole course. The participants are all volunteers who make special therapy visits with their personal pets. Therapy dogs visit hospitals, special schools, nursing and rehabilitation facilities and some even visit hospice patients. All teams are registered with either the Pet Partners or Intermountain Therapy Animals Pet Partner programs.
